Bhutan Photography Tour

This tour is planned for tourists who are into Photography and are fond of the splendid arts and architecture, besides the unique traditions and culture of a country still at the threshold of change. The old lives on even as the young makes its presence felt. Sometimes they clash but more often than not, they merge. It’s evident in everyday life, with manifestations from the remotest hamlets to the brand new chic/do in Thimphu-both “telling” a story. This organic interplay and growth makes up for telling photography.

Apart from Photographing ( though shy,the general Bhutanese does not mind an intrusive camera peering at him/her but a gesture or a request will be appreciated and are, infact, seldom ignored) and, a typical Bhutanese farm house, the fortresses, monasteries, stupas, the powerful landscapes, snow capped mountains, raging rivers to turquoise lakes, and a variety of Flora and Fauna, you’ll also find the typical Bhutanese “ towns” and “ Villages” magnetizing.

NOTE: Photography is restricted in some Fortresses and Monasteries. This was introduced to avoid any inconveniences to the monks in residence, who retreat into long periods of meditation where non-interference is strictly adhered. Your Guide will inform you prior to your entrance.
